The honey production of M. Jouve is located in a welcoming place, in "La Valla en Gier" which is a commune situated at altitude and on an impressive slope. It also benefits from long sunny periods.
The beehives are scattered all over the selected places of the "Massif du Pilat", and they offer succulent honey. The great diversity of the areas of this mountainous massif gives us the possibility to find very different grounds over a relatively small perimeter :
the forests of conifers are placed side by side with broad-leaved trees (chestnut, beech) and the heathlands or brooms are very near to the agricultural meadows. It is thanks to this great variety that the honey is so diverse and refined.
