Do you know what is milk jam? That is something delicious. It comes from an old recipe, very simple but that needs some high quality products and a lot of time. You may make some milk boil with canne sugar during hours until you obtain a soft pastry of blond colour or lightly brown depending on the degree of cooking.

This siny pastry tastes as toffee and can be spread on toasted fresh bread. It is of course not forbidden to taste it with a spoon out of the pot. This milk jam is made out of some good mountain milk.
