FRUIT JUICES
Producer : GAEC Rivory, à Pélussin

The GAEC is located in Pelussin and produces around 900 tons of apples over 494 acres of orchards. The main apples produced are, namely : the Jauna gold, the Royal Gala, the pippins and the golden apple. The fruit juices are obtained by squeezing and then, they are filtered and sterilized. They are conserved in a bottle (made of glass) for more than a year so that they keep the flavour of the fruits. The fruit juices are made from fresh apples. A thing to know : A sediment can appear at the dregs of the bottle. The apple juice can also be cloudy ; this is NOT a defect but the sign of the presence of a little fruit pulp which is an authenticity token.

Pelussin is located on the slope which goes down toward the Rhône. You can see the sparkling line of the river, meandering down majestically to the Mediterranean, from the old hall situated at the heart of Pelussin. There is a castle in Pelussin but you can also visit the house of "Parc du pilat" which shelters continuous and temporary showings. You can also walk through the botanical garden. It is a serene place to stroll around.
